Vadim has more than 12 years of corporate experience that is rooted in AI, fintech and private equity services but has crossed many sectors internationally.

He’s recently building at the intersection between insurance and prediction markets in San Francisco in an incubator for the 1% founders called Outcast (started by former Coatue, Nfx Partners).

Beforehand he spent 8 years building his AI startup Proportunity (an AI mortgage lender that forecast house prices, and invest in high-growth properties via secured equity loans) where he took it from idea to sale, raising $150M on the way and leading teams of 40+.

Previously he was a strategy consultant at Bain & Co, where he focused on private equity deals, specifically on transacting and growing targets in the Financial Services industry across EMEA, including a P&C insurance company.

Academically, Vadim studied both Engineering and Economics and Management in parallel at Oxford University, obtaining one of the highest 1st in Mathematics exams across all students.
Outside of work, Vadim is a husband and a father of two lovely children, and a keen cyclist, and automotive enthusiast. Vadim is Romanian by origin, and after 16 years in UK, has now relocated to SF with his family. Regarding working, Vadim has a green card.
