Florian Steger is General Partner at betacluster Ventures, a 20M EUR early-stage fund investing in Polish and CEE tech startups. The fund is anchored by PFR (Poland’s national development bank) with LP backing from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Benelux.

Before betacluster, Florian spent a decade running hubraum, Deutsche Telekom’s CVC and tech incubator, where he led investment teams in Berlin, Krakow and Tel Aviv. Prior to that he was a three-time founder with two exits – including a sale during the 2010/11 mobile era – and an early angel investor in companies like Wunderlist, Blinkist, and Mr. Spex.
