Juan Abia is a Principal Machine Learning Engineer from Vigo, Spain, currently leading the GenAI Platform team at Aily. With a background in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering, his work sits at the intersection of AI, platform engineering, and product innovation, with a strong focus on building scalable foundations for teams working with LLMs and generative AI systems.

Before joining Aily, he worked as a Software Engineer at Red Hat in the Czech Republic. Today, he leads initiatives around LLM infrastructure, observability, and internal AI platforms, helping drive the adoption of emerging AI capabilities across both Aily’s products and engineering workflows.
