Robert Schröder is the head of the external communications team of the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA).
Previously he was Member of the Cabinet of European Commissioner Moedas for Research, Science and Innovation with responsibilities in areas such as sustainability, energy and regulatory innovation. Robert also held positions in the European Commission’s DG Research and Innovation and DG Environment, in the European Parliament and represented the Dutch drinking water sector and regional water authorities in Brussels.

Robert has a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam.
